Spectadur grades are durable bio-compounds and bio-sheets based on PP or LD-/HD-PE. All Spectadur grades are reinforced with high-performing bamboo fibres, rice husk and wheat straw/husk; that is why Spectadur needs less non-bio-degradable plastics content to perform so well!
Spectadur grades perform better than the virgin polymer; the materials can be recycled.
Biodur grades are sustainable blends of durable polymers like PP or LD-/HD-PE and bio-polymers like Thermoplastic Starch (TPS). Our Biodur grades aim to reduce the amount of non-bio-degradable plastics. There are a few applications out there, where bio-polymers do not fit. Biodur grades are lower in price than the virgin polymer.
Bambacore fibre compounds (pellets/granules) are suitable for injection and extrusion moulding that are engineered to deliver high performance. To suit different product needs, we have grades with varying mechanical, thermal and processing properties. All grades are ready to use feedstock for moulding.
Bambacore sheets are suitable for compression moulding and thermoforming. Sheets are delivered with glossy finish of sizes up to 2.00m (in extrusion direction) to 1.30 m (perpendicular), and thickness of 0.6mm to 2.5mm.
